"Santa's
Camels" is a 3d animated cartoon short written and produced
by Rahel Kent. This delightful story introduces a charming cast of
characters designed by world renowned humorous illustrator, Steve
Gray. The 3d models were created by master modeler Tom Knight
of Imagination Works aka iw43d
and brought to life with his animation in 3d Studio max by Autodesk.
This 6 minute cartoon has been selected to screen in over 80 film
festivals worldwide. The Categories in competition include: animated
short, narrative short, children's short, and general best short film.
"Santa's Camels" received nominations for best animated
short film in 8 different festivals around the world,
winning the "Big Island Film Festival" in Hawaii,
the "Gloria Film Festival" in Salt Lake City, Utah,
and best Christmas story at the "Idaho Panhandle Festival".
It was also nominated as a competition finalist in the 36th
Annual U.S. Film and Video Competition, (an national event held annually)
in Dallas, TX, and received honorable mention at "Ole Muddy
Film Festival" in Wisconsin.
"Santa's Camels" is Rahel Kent's 1st film and is
the 1st in a series of four short stories she has written. The entire
compilation is entitled "Santa's World Travels".
